Hallett Cove Preschool Art Show

Hallett Cove Preschool has always had a strong focus on sustainability and looking after their natural environment. As part of this focus, they have been known for their chicken and duck yard which engages children in taking care of living things. After losing their chickens and ducks in 2022, they decided – it was time to redevelop the space!

With this in mind, they have decided to transform what was the chicken and duck homes into a vegetable garden and orchard. Their plan is to grow their vegetable patch and orchard to provide gardening, cooking and community experiences for the preschool children at Hallett Cove Preschool.

To raise funds for the garden transformation, the pre-school students have been busy creating little works of art! You can view the art show here in Hallett Cove Shopping Centre near Drakes from Wednesday 2nd August until Friday 11th August. Pop down and support the children, help them raise the funds by making a donation.

Once their new garden is established, they would love to see how to get involved not only the preschool but also the local garden community with the continuation of the garden.
